Why teams trial Cypress Cloud
The Cypress App is open source and trusted by developers everywhere to write end-to-end and component tests. Cypress Cloud is the quality platform built around it, turning every test run into insight your whole team can act on. Recording your runs to the Cloud removes the slow, expensive, and frustrating parts of running tests in CI:
- Slow feedback and rising CI bills. Smart Orchestration runs your specs across multiple machines and balances the load automatically, Spec Prioritization runs recently failed specs first, and Auto Cancellation stops a run once it has already failed, so every pipeline finishes faster and uses less compute.
- Failures you can't reproduce locally. Test Replay replays the exact run from CI with full debug capability, so triage is a single click instead of a guessing game.
- Flaky tests that erode trust. Flaky Test Management surfaces unreliable tests before your team starts ignoring real failures.
- Regressions reaching your main branch. Status checks from the GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket integrations keep failing code out of your protected branches.
- No visibility into quality over time. Analytics track test health at the project and organization level, so you can see when speed or reliability starts to slip and act before it becomes a problem.
A trial lets you measure all of this against your own suite, in your own CI, and see real results within days.
New to Cypress? Start with Why Cypress and installing Cypress, then write your first tests or generate them with Cypress Studio. With a Cloud account you also unlock Studio AI for AI-powered assertion recommendations and cy.prompt() for natural-language test generation. See AI at Cypress for the full picture.
What's included in your trial
Your trial includes the complete Enterprise feature set:

- Flaky Test Management: automatically detect and track unreliable tests.
- Analytics & insights: a panoramic view of test health and trends across every project and organization.
- Integrations: GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira, Slack, and Microsoft Teams, including secure integrations for self-managed instances.

cy.prompt()natural-language test generation, and connect your AI coding assistants to your run data with the Cypress Cloud MCP server. - Robust support: submit tickets directly from Cypress Cloud and get help from our team throughout your trial.
The only restriction during a free trial is that you cannot transfer existing Cypress Cloud projects into your trial organization.
How the trial works
When you start a trial, a progress indicator appears in the navigation sidebar to guide you through the features and capabilities of Cypress Cloud.

Click the indicator to open an onboarding guide that showcases each feature using your own tests recorded to the Cloud. Move through it at your own pace. You and everyone in your organization have the full 30 days to experience all of the capabilities Cypress Cloud provides.

What happens when the trial ends
You can choose and subscribe to a paid plan at any point during or after the trial. If a paid plan isn't the right fit when the 30 days are up, nothing is lost. Your account stays available to you and moves to our free Starter plan.
The Starter plan keeps you running with a smaller feature set: data retention is limited to 30 days and test results to 500 per monthly period. You can compare every plan side by side on the pricing page.
Existing customers
Already on a Cypress Cloud plan and want to experience the full Enterprise feature set? If your subscription hasn't changed in at least 90 days and you haven't recently been in a trial, an owner or admin in your organization can opt in from the Billing & Usage page.
During this trial your existing test-result and user limits still apply, but every Cloud feature is unlocked for your organization to explore. If you decide to stay on your current plan when the trial ends, no action is needed.
