Accessibility webhooks

Cypress Accessibility webhooks move a finished report into the systems where your team already works. Cypress Cloud sends the run.accessibility.completed event when the report finishes processing, so a workflow can start from that report without polling Cypress Cloud or waiting on a CI job.

Example use cases for Cypress Accessibility webhook events

Send Accessibility results to Google Chat

Keep the team informed in a channel that Cypress Cloud doesn't have a built-in integration for. The payload includes the project name, branch, Accessibility score, violation counts by impact, and a direct reportUrl. A receiver such as a Google Apps Script web app can turn those fields into a Google Chat message that links back to the report.

Triage Accessibility reports before AI analysis

Reserve AI analysis and token usage for reports that need attention. Cypress Cloud sends the event after Accessibility processing finishes, and the payload identifies processing failures and partial reports while summarizing the score and violations. Your receiver can use those fields to decide whether to investigate, then pass the run URL to the Cypress Cloud CLI or Cypress Cloud MCP for detailed analysis.

Add Accessibility scores to engineering dashboards

Put accessibility alongside the quality and ownership signals your team already tracks in Cortex, Datadog, or another internal system. The payload provides stable project and run identifiers, branch and commit data, timestamps, the score, violation counts, and the Axe Core® version. Your receiver can transform those fields into metrics or events for dashboards, alerts, and service scorecards.

Setup, payload fields, test events, signature verification, and retry behavior are in the Cypress Cloud webhooks documentation.
